Japanese cultural experience programs for foreign people are generally conducted in English. Please make inquiries if you need other languages. Japanese people may also join the programs.

Features of the Program

<Courses for Cross-Cultural Understanding>
Experiences such as tea ceremony, calligraphy and Japanese flower arrangement are conducted as a way to understand Japanese culture. Participants can also experience daily Japanese life through programs like yukata-wearing, home-cooking, and calligraphy which are conducted in Japanese residences.

<Instructors with international understanding and language skills>
Most of our instructors of calligraphy, flower arrangement, shamisen, and koto have a good command of English. Students with little or no Japanese language ability can learn, enjoy and understand easily. We also have French and Chinese tour guides.

<A variety of places including homes>
A home visit can accommodate up to 20 participants and is a very valuable experience. All home visits are conducted within 40 minutes from major stations such as Shinjuku and Tokyo. Programs are also conducted at other places including; Ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) filled with Edo atmosphere, colleges or schools, or hired facilities in central Tokyo.
